These terms apply to all users including registered users and visitors. Use of KaiBlu constitutes acceptance of these terms in full.
2. Information Only — No Medical Advice
KaiBlu provides general baby and parenting information for educational purposes only. The content provided through KaiBlu does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider — such as your paediatrician or GP — with any questions you may have regarding your child's health. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or received through KaiBlu.
3. No Liability
KaiBlu and its creators accept no responsibility or liability for any decisions made based on information provided through KaiBlu products. Use of KaiBlu is entirely at your own risk. 4. AI-Powered Responses
KaiBlu uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to generate responses. While we have implemented strict safety measures, AI responses may occasionally be incomplete or imperfect. Safety measures include topic restriction, emergency detection, output validation, rate limiting, and jailbreak protection. Despite these measures, KaiBlu is not infallible. Always apply your own judgement and consult professionals for important health decisions.
5. Research-Based Content
Answers provided by KaiBlu are based on publicly available guidance from reputable organisations including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the UK National Health Service (NHS). KaiBlu does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided. Medical guidelines are updated regularly — always verify with your healthcare provider.
6. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain KaiBlu features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. KaiBlu is designed for parents and caregivers — not for use by children.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use KaiBlu only for its intended purpose — seeking baby and parenting information. You must not: • Attempt to misuse, manipulate, or circumvent the AI system • Try to extract harmful or off-topic information from the AI • Use KaiBlu for any purpose other than baby and parenting guidance • Share your account credentials with others • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify any KaiBlu product Violations may result in immediate account termination.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and materials within KaiBlu products are the intellectual property of KaiBlu. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
9. Subscriptions & Payments
KaiBlu offers a free tier and a Premium subscription at R89/month or R799/year. Premium subscriptions are billed on the selected cycle and can be cancelled at any time. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Payment processing is handled by RevenueCat and the relevant app store platform. KaiBlu does not store your payment details.
10. Services (kaiblu.co.za)
KaiBlu also offers development services including web apps, mobile apps, and AI workflows. Service pricing is listed on the Services page. All service agreements are subject to separate project contracts. KaiBlu reserves the right to decline any project request.
11. Changes to These Terms
KaiBlu reserves the right to update these terms at any time. You will be notified of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of KaiBlu products following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
